My friend has one. I haven't noticed any difference from his than mine. He is running a 400 watt MH bulb in it. I am running a 600 watt MH in mine. His reflector was cheaper though. He doesn't have that ballast. I checked the hood out online and it is pretty cheap for what seems to be a good deal.
