DWC root chop how much is too much

How much of the root can I cut back in DWC? I've noticed some slime and browning. I've been using H2O2 every couple of days, but it seems to be getting worse. I'm considering trimming a lot of it. Is it okay to cut it back a lot and let it grow again?

You can trim quite a bit in DWC if roots are slimy or brown, but leave enough healthy ones, after cutting, boost oxygen and consider beneficial bacteria instead of just H2O2.

You can definitely trim back the damaged roots, cut off all the slimy, brown parts but try to leave as much healthy root as possible, don't go crazy removing too much at once though; too much stress can slow growth, then after trimming, keep the water clean, lower H2O2 use

You can trim the worst of the brown, slimy roots, but don't hack too much coz plants can get stressed if you take off a big chunk. Focus on cutting the obviously dead/slimy stuff and keep up with sterilizing. H₂O₂ helps in th meanwhile, but something like beneficial microbes or better res temps/oxygen will give longer term control
