I love this! I actually tried growing ginger in a small NFT rail last winter, ah it took forever to get going, but once the roots settled in, it exploded. Have you found turmeric easier than ginger, or about the same level of patience required?

I once attempted dwarf peppers in a Kratky bin, they grew great, but I underestimated how thirsty they get during fruiting. Lesson learned: bigger reservoir next time.
