big bud and 3 part nutrients

My brother and I are just getting into hydroponics and we have a few questions, so I figured I'd ask the pros here.

We're using a 3 part nutrient system and just got some of that Big Bud. We're wondering if we should add it on top of his regular feed or if it's supposed to replace the Bloom part of his nutrients.
Also, what's a good schedule for adding Big Bud? Do you add it during the whole flowering phase or just at the beginning?

We're having a blast learning, so any tips would be a huge help!

To get the most out of Big Bud, mix it with your usual plant food during the flowering phase, all the way up to harvest. It helps buds grow bigger, but don't use it instead of your regular bloom nutrients, think of it as a supplement. For the best results, just use the product as directed, usually every other watering or whatever the label says

yeah, Big Bud is meant to be an additive, so you use it on top of your regular 3 part nutrient system's Bloom formula.
For the schedule, run Big Bud during the middle flowering weeks, typically from Week 2 to Week 4 or 5 of the bloom phase.
Then you usually swap it out for a different late bloom/finish booster (like Overdrive)

Thanks for explaining. I’ve only used a simple bloom mix before, so I want to ask if Big Bud changes the pH a lot when you add it. Also, do you see a big change in how thick the buds get when you switch to Overdrive near the end? I’m working on my first full grow.
