If you're new to hydroponics and not sure which lights to use, you're not alone. A common question is: should I use LED or HID lights?
LEDs use less power and stay cooler. HID lights like HPS and CFLs have been used for a long time and work well too. Each type has good and bad sides, depending on your setup and plants.
