Need help for vertical faming setup

Hey, I've been long-time lurking here and there but I guess this topic isn't the most popular. Anyway, hoping some members can offer me tips and insights..

I'm finally getting my vertical farming setup going, but I've hit a snag with the plumbing. I've got a pump and a reservoir ready to go, but I'm not sure how to connect everything. The system has a small nozzle and a larger 3/4 inch nozzle. For the supply line, where does the intake hose go on the first level? Does it then connect directly to the second level? Most importantly, how does the water drain back to the reservoir?? I'm trying to figure out the return line so I don't flood my place.

Any advice or diagrams would be super helpful. Thanks in advance!

So, the water line should go from the pump up to the bottom of the first tier. From there, the water can flow up or spill over. For the water to return, just use drain lines that go down with gravity from each tier back to the tank. Using 3/4 pipes should stop things from getting stopped up. It's also a good idea to have something to stop the water from spilling over.

Just don’t overcomplicate it... if your pump can push enough pressure, you can feed all levels. But drainage is the tricky part. So each level should have its own return pipe, not one combined unless you size it big. One blockage and you’ll flood. Do tests whenever you can.
