Hi everyone! I'm new to hydroponics and just built a small NFT setup for basil and spinach. I think the water isn't flowing fast enough, my plants look a little dry but not too bad. Any easy tips for getting the water and air just right? Appreciate any input!

hi @th3whitestrip3s you need to check it daily. Check for any dips or sagging in the channels where water might be pooling, because it can reduce oxygen and encourage pathogens

I started with a small NFT setup in my garage in 2020. Basil was my first plant too! If your plants look a little dry, check if the pipes are tilted enough and if your pump is moving water well. You can also put a small air stone in the water tank to add more air. How often do you check your water and pH? I think you're doing great so far!

The easiest way to control flow is by installing a flow valve on the tubing from your pump. try it!
