Root rot keeps coming back single bucket issue?

Hey, so I've been running this RDWC setup for my peppers, and I've hit a bit of a snag. There's this one bucket that just won't stop showing signs of rot, no matter how thoroughly I clean and isolate it. The other buckets are totally fine, so I'm wondering, could the bucket itself be the culprit? It's so frustrating

I'd change the bucket with a new, opaque, smooth-walled container. And try monitoring if there's any improvement

Make sure the bucket's air lines aren't pinched, the air stones aren't clogged, and the flow is even. Weak flow or still spots mean less oxygen and more germs.

I'd look for "dead zones" inside the bucket (stagnant corners, poor flow) where oxygen exchange is weak. Maybe the air stone or circulation is weaker in that bucket. Also scrub and treat surfaces with H₂O₂ or a root friendly sanitizer. If after swap the rot still comes back there, it's probably in the plastic or micro-crevices.

How do you spot dead zones? is it just by looking at flow or do you use something like dye or bubbles? Also, what’s your go-to root-safe sanitizer? I’ve only tried H2O2so far.

Is there any difference regarding that bucket's temps? If you don't keep the water temp under 70 degrees F, it will be a problem. If that's OK I would refer back to the post on the air stones and it's easy enough to just change that particular container.
