Oh no, I’ve been there! My first hydro setup used clear tubing too, and algae showed up fast. Switching to black or opaque tubing helped a ton. Algae loves light so blocking it is key. I also started covering the reservoir and added a bit of hydrogen peroxide weekly to keep things clean.
