Intake vs exhaust finding the right balance

Okay, so I'm trying out a new fan setup in my 2x4 tent. Right now, the intake fan seems stronger than the exhaust, and the tent walls are puffing out. Should I switch things around so the exhaust is stronger? What do you think?

@Aqualeaf yeah, Been there! The first time my tent puffed out, I thought I was doing something right. But you want the opposite. I have my exhaust fan set up with a carbon filter on a higher speed, and then I just use a passive intake vent at the bottom. The exhaust fan does all the work of pulling fresh air in. It's simple, efficient, and ensures no odors escape.

Your exhaust should be stronger so the tent stays under slight negative pressure and this helps with airflow and odor control, but since the walls are puffing out, it means you’re building pressure inside, swap the balance so the exhaust pulls a bit more than the intake
