Hey everyone!

I’m Awais, an indoor hydroponics grower from UK. I’ve been experimenting with different systems over the past few years — from simple Kratky bottles to more advanced DWC and NFT setups.
I joined this forum to connect with other growers, learn from your experiences, and share some of my own. I’m especially interested in:

• Improving nutrient efficiency
• Climate control (VPD, CO₂, DLI, etc.)
• DIY systems and space-optimized setups
• Using data + tools to make indoor growing easier

I’ve also built a few free tools (EC/PPM calculator, nutrient planner, VPD calculator, etc.) because I love the “tech + growing” side of hydroponics — always happy to share if anyone needs help.

Great to have you here, Awais! I once tried a DIY DWC with recycled buckets, but root rot nearly killed the project. How do you manage water temps in your systems? Do you use chillers?
