how to start Nutraponics?

I just jumped into the world of hydroponics and got a Nutraponics grow tower! As a mom of three, I’m planning on having my kids help me grow herbs and leafy greens just for their home projects

This is all new to me! For those of you who have these towers, where do I even begin? Do I start with seeds right in the rockwool, or should I sprout them first?
What are the easiest, most rewarding things to grow first that will keep the kids interested and yield results fast? Any tips for absolute beginners getting started with these grow towers would be huge! Thanks!

I put seeds straight into wet rockwool cubes and keep them warm and damp until they sprout. Lettuce, basil, and mint grow fast and my kids like watching them pop up. Just make sure the water has the right pH and nutrients, and check the lighting if it’s inside
