Running hydro setup while away

Hi growers! I’ve got a small DWC system but I’ll be away for a week. (yay, vacation!) I’m worried about water levels and nutrient balance while I’m gone. Do you automate top‑ups,or just ask someone to check in?

Nice! For a week away, water levels are the bigger risk than nutrients since pH and EC can drift fast. Automated top‑ups with plain water help, but a human check‑in is safest. Do you have a reservoir size that can handle 7 days?

In hydro, a week is doable if you prep like top off with fresh water, set an auto‑fill, and leave extra aeration. Still, nothing beats a quick human check. Do you trust someone to handle a pH pen while you’re gone?
