My plants caught Pythium a while back, and I treated it with H₂O₂. They've grown new roots, but the upper roots still have a mucusy brown coating, what's the best way to clean that off completely?
If you see some brown spots on the older roots of your plant but new healthy white roots are growing, don't stress too much. Just keep an eye on the water temperature, make sure it stays below 72°F and good oxygenation to prevent reinfection. My plants caught Pythium a while back, and I treated it with H₂O₂.
