Water to use in growing lettuce

I’ve been running a little DWC setup for lettuce here in my small apartment. I’ve just been using tap water, but I’m wondering if I should switch to distilled or filtered?? Do you all use anything special?

I use tap water for my DWC lettuce too. Plants don’t mind unless the water’s very hard. If you’re worried, filtered water is a nice middle ground without lugging jugs of distilled.
