Weird noise on pump

What do you guys to with water pump that's buzzing louder than usual? What do you usually check first?

First thing I check is if the pump’s sitting flat. Mine buzzed like crazy last month until I wedged a folded towel under it. turned out vibration against the floor was the culprit.
